About Bedouin Blend

The term "Bedouin" originates from the Arabic word 'Bedu' which has its roots in the word "Badiya," meaning desert.

A symbol of hospitality, bedouin tea is widely enjoyed by tribal bedouins of Southwest Asia and North Africa, from Sinai in Egypt to Wadi Rum in Jordan and beyond. Today, this tea is an emblem of generosity and welcoming within many households.

Bedouin tea is traditionally brewed with indigenous herbs, black tea and sugar. Various herbs are often infused, from sage to cardamom, cinnamon sticks, mint and native herbs that are accessible. This tea is often prepared to cope with high temperatures of the desert, however it has evolved into a symbol of hospitality for passersby and guests.

Our Bedouin Tea is inspired by scents and flavours of the desert, incorporating a blend of sage leaf with Assam black tea, cardamom and rose. Our ingredients are organic and sustainably sourced.
